Finance Intern

New Hampshire Democratic Gubernatorial Campaign seeks a highly motivated intern to support our fundraising team for one of the nation’s most competitive and exciting races!

All individuals eager to learn about the strategy and tactics of building a campaign are urged to apply. The position requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours a week through November 8. This position is unpaid, but we are happy to work with you and your school to arrange for academic credit.

Campaigns are fast moving and constantly adapting, so we expect our interns to be the same. Roles and responsibly include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting donor research and prospecting efforts
  • Maintaining donor and volunteer database
  • Staffing fundraising events
  • Assisting with donor appreciation and outreach
  • Performing select administrative duties

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hard working and excited to learn
  • Detail oriented and able to successfully multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong editing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with NGP-VAN a plus
  • Interest in New Hampshire politics and a commitment to progressive political causes and candidates

Digital Intern/Fellow

We’re seeking full- or part-time intern/fellow (contingent on skill level) to assist with digital department operations. The position reports directly to the Digital Director and will come part of a close-knit team dedicated to public outreach through digital communications.

The position is located in Manchester, NH, with the potential to work remote for a highly qualified applicant. This is an unpaid position, but we’ll gladly work with you and your institution to arrange for academic credit.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Writing and editing content for mass email and social media
  • Updating and maintaining the website
  • Editing and proofreading digital content
  • Conceiving and designing graphics for social media, email, and events
  • Attending and taking photos at events

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to follow instructions with a willingness to step up and take initiative when needed
  • Top-notch organizational skills
  • Ability to be a creative problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends
  • Experience with graphic design, web design, basic HTML/CSS, BSD, and/or ActBlue a plus

Communications & Research Fellow

The fellow will report to the Communications Director and assist with drafting basic campaign communications and research. While previous experience is ideal, fellows will be trained to meet their responsibilities. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an experienced staff and on a top-tier, nationally watched campaign.

All individuals eager to learn about campaign communications and research are urged to apply. The fellowship schedule is flexible but applicants should expect to commit at least 15 hours each week for the fall semester. While the position is unpaid, we’ll gladly work with you and your institution to arrange for academic credit.

  • Administrative assistance
