MANCHESTER POLICE PATROLMAN’S ASSOCIATION AND MANCHESTER ASSOCIATION OF POLICE SUPERVISORS ENDORSE COLIN VAN OSTERN FOR GOVERNOR
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Today, the Manchester Police Patrolman’s Association and the Manchester Association of Police Supervisors endorsed Colin Van Ostern for Governor, citing his commitment to working with law enforcement to combat the opioid epidemic and keep communities throughout New Hampshire safe. In case you missed it, see coverage of the endorsements in today’s Union Leader.
“Our next Governor must work with local law enforcement officers who are on the frontlines to combat the heroin and opioid crisis,” said Kenneth Chamberlain, President of the Manchester Police Patrolman’s Association. “Colin Van Ostern listens to local law enforcement and understands how important it is to protect public safety. We’re proud to endorse Colin because we know that he’ll work with local law enforcement to keep our communities safe and crackdown on the heroin crisis.”
“Every day, our local law enforcement put their lives on the line to keep New Hampshire safe and I’m proud to earn the support of the Manchester Police Patrolman’s Association and the Manchester Association of Police Supervisors,” said Colin Van Ostern, Democratic nominee for Governor. “Our local law enforcement are on the front lines in the fight against our state’s heroin and opioid crisis. We need to stand behind them by ensuring that they have the rools they need to succeed like Operation Granite Hammer and continuing the bipartisan New Hampshire Health Protection Plan, which provides treatment services for thousands in recovery. As Governor, I’ll always stand with our law enforcement officials and I’ll bring community leaders together to overcome this crisis.”
